About us.. Written buy Laura Blood- Melonz Mag
Bow and Crossbones is a new, independent, alternative, handmade jewellery and accessories company from the Midlands which promises quirk and originality. Bow and Crossbones was created in June 08 after being a little discontent with what was on offer on the high street. Not being able to find what they really wanted they began making pieces for themselves, that they liked and would wear. They soon proved popular with other ladies alike, those that aren’t afraid to be a little bit daring and different when it comes to adding that little something to their attire.

Taking it upon themselves to excel their jewellery designs they embarked on a Silver Jewellery course. Improving their craft to a higher standard they now credit Bow and Crossbones, a beautiful and alternative collection of handmade jewellery and accessories.
Their main inspirations behind their designs arrive from tattoo art, vintage style and rockabilly. Collaborating with Tattoo artists Rachel Huntington, Dawnii Fantana, Helen Brown, & Vicky Morgan, they create pieces that are truly unique that are edgy yet feminine. Tattoo art is something that they are heavily passionate about which is clearly evident within their work.
Their designs are real statement pieces (whether that be big or small) that are sure to spur that second glance, incorporating everything a quirky lady likes from swallows, sails boats and cake to skulls, bats and ghouls. Providing you with something that you can wear everyday or save for a special occasion, either way you will look great.
They also offer their customers the option to customize their own jewellery. So whether you’re looking for something to compliment your body art or after a personal gift then Bow and Crossbones are more than happy to help you create those one-off pieces. With every purchase they also offer a free coloured gift wrap service and a small charge for leopard print paper and boxes- a perfect added touch.

When Bow and Crossbones aren’t busy designing and creating you can find them regularly attending tattoo conventions up and down the country, holding Bow and Crossbones stalls showcasing their work and finding inspiration for their next tattoo inspired designs. They Regularly Attend Rockabilly weekenders, Drag Racing and Hotrod shows too!
